Rough Electric, rough plumbing and more...

Quite a bit of work has been done in the last couple weeks that brings us just a bit closer to completing our project. Karlsen Plumbing has the rough plumbing in place and Goebel and Sons Electric has the electric service in place and much of the rough electric installed in preparation of WE energies running power to the brewery.
Kudos to both of these contractors for a job well done! HVAC will be the next step and we’re looking forward to seeing the ductwork throughout the black open trusses.
Away from the brewery, our brewery equipment is currently being fabricated by our friends at Paul Mueller Company and should be ready for delivery in the next month or so. It’s all beginning to come together and we’re looking forward to brewing our first batch.

A sneak peak of the finished brewery...

This is a sneak peak of what our brewery will look like when it’s finished. The interior decor shown does not include the specific items that we’ll be displaying yet, and the brewing equipment shown is a close representative of what we’ll be using, but without a lot of the detail.
Our interior theme will be a display of our collection of items from the “good old days” of commercial air travel. The flag you’ll see above the fireplace is the actual flag cut from a Delta 747. The particular aircraft that this came from was the final 747 flown by a US domestic airline.

Moving right along...

The hard workers of Josh Martin Roofing have been spending the last week getting our roof taken care of. They’ve done a great job!
The windows are now installed and work is being done building walls in the interior of the building by the Bower Design and Construction Carpenter Team. They’ve also done a great job so far!
In keeping with our desire to work with as many local businesses as possible, the lumber we’re using has been supplied by our Main Street neighbor, Union Grove Lumber & True Value
It’s all really beginning to come together. We can hardly wait!

A new year!

2025 brings renewed anticipation as the carpenters have been working hard to build and raise the walls and trusses. Kudos to the Bower Construction Carpenters who are working diligently in the coldest weather of the year to get the job done. Thank you!
