After many iterations from our original hand drawn design, our architect has finally put the finishing touches on our architectural plans, and has submitted them to the State for plan approval. This is what it's going to look like:

On October 31st, our brewery plans made the local newspaper after a meeting with the Union Grove Village Board. Although a little premature, we're excited to finally see our name in print.

After several meetings with the architect we partnered with, he was able to provide his first pass on how he envisioned our brewery. With future meetings planned, our vision is finally coming to life.

In order to gather information for the plan, we met with several builders and architects to determine the logistics and costed related to building a brewery from the ground up. We spent many hours brainstorming how the functional building would work and drew up many iterations of our visions on graph paper.

For many years, one of our passions has been to visit breweries and brew-pubs wherever we would travel. We would also point out buildings or areas stating, “this would make a beautiful brewery” or “this town would be a prime spot for a brewery”. In August of 2020, we noticed a partial of land in our own hometown that we never really paid attention to before, until it suddenly dawned on us that this would be a perfect place for a small brewery and tasting room belongs here. Having informally talked about our idea with others, we purchased “our piece of grass”.
